The Memphis and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is working to address basic infrastructure needs in the Uptown Tax-Increment Financing (TIF) District by providing sidewalk repair and public cameras, and to ensure adequate lighting for the streets and the community. Malasri Engineering is leading the streetlight assessment and evaluation, camera coordination, utility coordination, and smart city planning tasks for the project team.

The Patterson Street realignment project required improvement design services and permitting for the section of Patterson that runs from Southern Avenue to north of Mynders Avenue. As a subconsultant to Barge Design Solutions, Inc., Malasri Engineering prepared and submitted Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan permit documents required by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for land disturbance activities associated with the project.
Malasri Engineering coordinated permitting for the Patterson Street realignment on behalf of the City of Memphis, contributing to the project’s completion on time and within budget.
