Since 2017, Malasri Engineering has been designated as the prime consultant by the City of Memphis Division of Housing and Community Development for the ambitious Pinch District Development Project. These projects include a 48” sewer line relocation and three phases of converting overhead utilities to underground.

For the Uptown Community Plan project, Malasri Engineering provided infrastructure support involving multiple utility stakeholder coordination for Torti Gallas + Partners and Memphis and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). This plan will guide the CRA on continuing the revitalization of the Uptown neighborhood by the City of Memphis and Shelby County through an allocation of $95 million for redevelopment projects.
Malasri Engineering is currently working with the Kimley-Horn team to provide civil engineering services and construction documents to transition the plans into reality.
