Malasri Engineering has successfully provided and continues to provide EPSC inspections for various projects in Memphis and Shelby County. EPSC inspections include sewer rehabilitation and improvement projects, in addition to TDOT roadway projects.
Since 2015, Malasri Engineering supported various SSES contractors for the City of Memphis Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (SARP10). Malasri Engineering has overseen and managed more than 6,500,000 LF of PACP, MACP and Smoke Testing services, also providing local oversight of daily operations of field services. Malasri Engineering coordinates with subcontractors and serves as liaison between the City of Memphis SARP10 Program Team and the primary contractor.
The redesign of W.C. Handy Park called for making it more spacious by removing the existing brick arcade and perimeter fencing, adding rooftop signage, and including park-side storefronts, to make the park more accessible and inviting throughout. Further enhancements included new landscaping, upgraded lighting, and new public restrooms integrated next to Club Handy. As a subconsultant to Kimley-Horn, Malasri Engineering provided civil design services.
Serving the prime consultant, LRK, Malasri Engineering consulting team successfully developed a schematic design, outlining proposed public infrastructure improvements to revitalize the Highland Strip, in order to create a vibrant and safe neighborhood for the community. Malasri Engineering oversaw and coordinated all engineering and landscape architecture services. Stakeholder engagement, conducted in 2019, included the UNDC board members and local business owners with a public unveiling of the proposed plan.

For the Uptown Community Plan project, Malasri Engineering provided infrastructure support involving multiple utility stakeholder coordination for Torti Gallas + Partners and Memphis and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). This plan will guide the CRA on continuing the revitalization of the Uptown neighborhood by the City of Memphis and Shelby County through an allocation of $95 million for redevelopment projects.

The Patterson Street realignment project required improvement design services and permitting for the section of Patterson that runs from Southern Avenue to north of Mynders Avenue. As a subconsultant to Barge Design Solutions, Inc., Malasri Engineering prepared and submitted Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan permit documents required by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for land disturbance activities associated with the project.

The City of Memphis is upgrading the Stiles WWTP electrical systems (switchgears, motor control centers, transformers, etc.), backup power capability (generator installations and connections), lagoon outfall, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems, to improve the plant reliability and eliminate sanitary sewer overflows.
